Hello and welcome to episode 4! I tried to improve it based on the comments you gave me last episode :)

Transcript:
Hello and welcome to episode 4 of Counter Strike Weekly just before Christmas. Before we get into this week’s news I would like to mention that I do not expect many news next week and I will replacing the news video with a making of video for CS weekly. I have seen comments asking how long this takes to make and I really want to give you an inside since this is quite unique. That being said we are at 900 subs now which is amazing and I’d be soo grateful if we could make the Christmas dream come true and reach 1000 subs by the end of this year!
Now enough random stuff, let’s get into the news!!
Do you want to be a pro player?! Well now you can! CLG is publicly recruiting a player for their cs go roster as a replacement for FNS. If you want to join you can apply on their website! There is some requirements but if you are at that level, this may be the easiest way to go pro playing cs so what are you waiting for??

Since the team was not able to achieve much this year, KeyD stars have released their cs go roster. But don’t worry if you are a fan. The entire roster has been picked up by AlienTech, so only the name will change and you can keep enjoying the team play.

Last week I reported that Allu is leaving NiP by the end of the year. Now I also suspected that we will see him again next year and chances are that this might actually happen. There is no confirmation on that but we saw him play for liquid as a stand in, testing the waters. Personally I find it to be quite interesting that an EU player may move to the NA scene. It just feels like both scenes are melting together. And with E-league next year, this was bound to happen.
And another very similar rumour has been destroyed. Many prospected that get_right may be joining Cloud9 in 2016. Now get right himself stated that although he was offered playing for c9 in the summer and even said yes, he didn’t want to leave nip early. During IEM he actually got in touch with c9, trying to play together and having some business conversations yet it didn’t end up working out. This means we won’t see get right playing for c9, but it still shows that he does not want to quit playing cs go completely which sort of is a relief after so many pros quitting their active careers.
Next up, we got some mousesports news! The team parted ways with their IGL gob_b as he failed to perform in 2015. He will be replaced by Penta’s spiidi who was playing for mouse before. This shows a new trend in the scene. After fnatic getting rid of pronax for the same reasons, it is hard to deny that teams are looking for leaders who can still top frag while calling. Flusha demonstrates this every game fnatic play, and the typical role of the in game leader seems to change. We will see whether this will effect more teams in the feature.

All the big tournaments are over for this year. This is why dreamhack featured the play it cool event this Saturday. Get_right shox james bardolph maikele and the selected community member lolzie got together and played various community teams. If a community team won, they would get $2000 dollars. The pros got to donate their prize money to their own choice of charity. The whole event was sponsored by ASUS and very fun to watch as it was so unique.

Next up, I would like to mention Monday’s cs go update in which they rolled back the rifle changes after many pros complained. This was necessary for the competitive scene, taking out the added randomness which many pros complained about. A redditor summed it up with one sentence:
“Valve may not communicate, but they do listen”.
Last but not least, CS:GO Lounge and conquest have secured their spots at e-league next year. The two teams will compete for the $1.2M prize pool. If you want to know more about this tournament, make sure to check out Episode 2 of this series on my channel.
